WHEREAS, Resolution 7R1-d adopted on February 15, 2023, by the Municipal Council authorized Purchasing Agent, QPA, to enter into and execute a contract with Northeast Sweepers and Rentals, Inc., 20 Montesano Road, Fairfield, New Jersey 07004, to provide Maintenance and Repair services to the City's Street Sweepers in the amount not to exceed Nine Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($900,000.00) for a period not to exceed twenty-four consecutive months pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-15; and
WHEREAS, prior to the execution of the contract, the Department of Public Works contacted the Division of Central Purchasing requesting to rescind the award to allow them to substantially revise the specifications to better meet the department's needs; and...
