WHEREAS, Angelo Ellerbee is a son of the City of Newark and the producer of the Back Together Again Fashion Show; and
WHEREAS, The Back Together Again Fashion Show is scheduled for September 21, 2025 at Newark Symphony Hall; and
WHEREAS, this event will feature iconic stars, extraordinary local talent and draw significant attention to the City of Newark; and
WHEREAS, the purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the Essex RAIN Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ youth; and
WHEREAS, the event coincides with the 100th anniversary of Newark Symphony Hall, a landmark that symbolizes Newark’s enduring cultural significance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council hereby supports the Back Together Again Fashion Show.
2. The Back Together Again Fashion Show is scheduled for September 21, 2025 at Newark Symphony Hall.
