WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is supportive of community events that provide wholesome family entertainment and education that allows residents the opportunity to gather and renew old acquaintances and establish new ones; and
WHEREAS, Annual Halloween Parade and Car Show will provide a wonderful event for the children and youth in the community and the 12th Annual Car Show will provide hot rods and classic cars; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of the Annual Halloween Parade and Car Show being held Saturday, October 25, 2025 from the hours of 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM from Mt. Prospect Avenue between Delavan Avenue to Heller Parkway, Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby indicate its support of the Annual Halloween Parade and Car Show being held Saturday, October 25, 2025 from the hours of 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM from Mt. Prospect Avenue between Delavan Avenue to Heller Parkway, Newark, (North Ward).
2. The Municipal Council is co-sponsoring this special event however, it does not waive insurance coverage requirements due to be provided by event organizers or costs above service charg...
