WHEREAS, the Local Municipal Budget for the Year 2026 was introduced on the 3rd of June, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Public Hearing on said Budget has been held as advertised on July 15, 2026; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to amend said Introduced Budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Municipal Council of the City of Newark, County of Essex that the following amendments to the introduced Budget of 2026 be made:
See attached Exhibit A (Amendments to the Introduced Budget of 2026)
A certified copy of this Resolution be uploaded to the FAST System for the Director of the Division of Local Government Services for the certification of the 2026 Municipal Budget, so amended.
It is hereby certified that this is a true copy of a Resolution amending the 2026 Municipal Budget, adopted by the Municipal Council on the 15th day of September 2026.
