WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-a on May 22, 2024 authorizing a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with The Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for a Senior Summer BBQ, sponsored by Council Member, Anibal Ramos, to originally be held on Thursdays, July 11, 2024, July 18, 2024, July 25, 2024, August 1, 2024 and August 8, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M., however due to the change in the venue's management, there is a need to reschedule the event; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Senior Summer BBQ at Stephen Crane Elderly, at 801 N. 6th Street; 900 Franklin Avenue; 58-60 Cedar Lane; Stephen Crane Village and Riverside Villa, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Thursdays, August 1, 2024; August 8, 2024; August 15, 2024; August 22, 2024 and August 29, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M.; and
