WHEREAS, on September 5, 2024, a Regular Meeting of the Municipal Council was convened in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, during said Regular Meeting the Municipal Council desired to discuss under closed session attorney-client privilege matters that would diminish the chances of receiving federal funds if released to the public.
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b)(7) authorizes the exclusion of the public from discussions concerning said matters; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council by this Resolution adopted at said Regular Meeting on September 5, 2024, commencing at 12:36 P.M. and ending at 1:21 P.M. voted to exclude the public from said discussion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The part of the Regular Meeting of the Municipal Council containing the discussion on such session, attorney-client privilege matters that would diminish the chances of receiving federal funds if released to the public is closed to the members of the public under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b)(7).
