Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting an Annual Easter Egg Hunt Program for Council Member Anibal Ramos, Jr., scheduled to be held at Elwood Park (corner of Elwood and Summer Avenues) on Friday, April 1 3, 2012, between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., (rain date-Friday, April 20, 2012); and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY;, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs for any claims arising out of the use of Elwood Park on Friday, April 13, 2012 between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., (rain date-Friday, April 20, 2012).
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council shall, forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed ion the Office of the City Clerk.
