Resolution 7R6-e adopted on December 20, 2023, awarded a multi-vendor contract for the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, for a contract amount not to exceed $150,000.00.
This First Amendment will increase the contract amount by $115,750.00, for a new total contract amount not to exceed $265,750.00.

WHEREAS, Legal Services are Professional Services and are exempt from the requirements for public bidding pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, more specifically, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council, by Resolution 7R6-e, adopted on December 20, 2023, awarded a contract to White & Co., 523 Park Avenue, Suite 3, Orange, New Jersey 07050, to provide legal services concerning Per Diem Attorneys in the Newark Municipal Court, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($150,000.00), for a period of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, White & Co., on or about August 2024 expended the multi-vendor award of $150,000.00 and continued to provide legal services at the request of the Corporation Counsel for the remainder of the contract period; and
