WHEREAS, the City of Newark ("City") is the owner of the park located at 378 Lyons Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07112 and commonly known as Bo Porter Sports Complex ("Park"); and

WHEREAS, the City is desirous of improving the Park for the use and enjoyment of the public; and

WHEREAS, Urban Initiative, LLC, of Summit, New Jersey 07901 ("Urban Initiative"), is a charitable organization located in New Jersey whose mission is to create more socioeconomic and ethnic diversity within the sport of soccer by providing premier soccer turf facilities and free coaching instruction to children living in underserved communities across the State of New Jersey; and

WHEREAS, Urban Initiative in partnership with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children's Hospital of New Jersey, a RWJ Barnabas health facility, is gifting equipment, materials and labor valued at approximately Sixty Five Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($65,000.00), to the City of Newark (preliminary estimate attached as Exhibit A) for the construction of a Futsol Soccer Court at the Park ("Soccer Court"); and

WHEREAS, Urban Initiative has selected Athletic Fields of America as its vendor for the Soccer Court; and
