WHEREAS, at the request of the residents of Fabyan Place, the City of Newark, Department of Engineering, Division of Traffic and Signals, in conjuction with the New Jersey Transit Traffic Operations, has reviewed and approved their request; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A 39:4-197(3)(a), the following described location is relocated as a bus stop:
ADDED BUS STOP:
1. In the South Ward, along Fabyan Place, southbound on the westerly side thereof:
Selvage Street, nearside
Beginning at the northerly curb line of Selvage Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
DELETED BUS STOP:
2. In the South Ward, along Fabyan Place, southbound on the westerly side thereof:
Loretto Street, nearside
Beginning at the northerly curb line of Loretto Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 39:4-197(3)(a) of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey, a municipality may by ordinance, resolution or regulation designate or delete a bus stop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. In the South Ward, the following described location is hereby added:
Along Fabyan Place, southbound on the westerly side, at Selvage Street, (nearside) beginning at the northerly curb line of Selvage Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
In the South Ward, the following described location is hereby deleted:
Along Fabyan Place, southbound on the westerly side, at Loretto Street, (nearside) beginning at the northerly curb line of Loretto Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
