WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the National Youth Step Competition at Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, (Full Auditorium Gym, Atrium, and Music Classroom Close to the Stage) Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, (Full Auditorium Gym, Atrium, and Music Classroom Close to the Stage) Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 P.M., for the National Youth Step Competition.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, for their records.
