WHEREAS, on May 24, 2016, the City of Newark, through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide Hospital and Surgical Equipment, Instruments and Supplies to the City of Newark's Department of Health and Community Wellness, as per the bid proposal attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing distributed seven (7) bid proposal packages to the prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on June 9, 2016, the Division of Central Purchasing received two (2) bids in response to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Health and Community Wellness, reviewed and evaluated the two (2) bids received, and recommends that a dual award of contracts for the provision of Hospital and Surgical Equipment, Instruments and Supplies...
