WHEREAS, the City of Newark ("City"), through its Summer Youth Employment Program ("SYEP"), seeks to provide Newark youth with meaningful educational, career exploration, workforce readiness, and professional development opportunities; and
WHEREAS, Berkeley College, located at 536 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, has submitted a proposal to host up to Two hundred (200) Newark youth participating in the Summer Youth Employment Program from July 13, 2026 through August 13, 2026 at a cost not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($200,000.00); and
