The 11th Annual Mt. Prospect Partnership Hot Rods and Classic Car Show, will be held on Mt. Prospect Avenue (between Delavan Avenue and Heller Parkway), from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
The City of Newark's Special Event Permit Application Fees ($100.00) for the street closure will be waived.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is supportive of community events that provide an essential service to the residents of Newark; and
WHEREAS, the 11th Annual Mt. Prospect Partnership Hot Rods and Classic Car Show, on Saturday October 26, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M., the City of Newark's Special Event Permit Application Fees of One Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents, ($100.00) for the event will be waived; and
WHEREAS, the 11th Annual Mt. Prospect Partnership Hot Rods and Classic Car Show will allow the community to enjoy a day of history, fine artistry of cars, the growth and change of what vehicles are like today; live music, food vendors, face painters and live characters of the children; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of the 11th Annual Mt. Prospect Partnership Hot Rods and Classic Car Show, to be held on Mt. Prospect Avenue (between Delavan Avenue and Heller Parkway), from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
