WHEREAS, The Krist Foundation, Inc., 133 High Street, Mount Holly, New Jersey 08060 (hereinafter the "Foundation") through it's The Temple of Hip-Hop (hereinafter the "Program") presented a proposal to the Administration to bring this Program to Newark in which Hip-Hop would be used to educate youth and adults alike and bring exposure to its roots in Newark (Attachment A); and
WHEREAS, The Mayor desires to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (the "MOU") with the Foundation to use and occupy the Training Recreation Education Center (hereinafter the "TREC"), located at 55 Ludlow Street, Newark, NJ, 07103 in which it will provide programming for young adults from ages 16 and up; and
