This Resolution will amend Resolution 7R4-b, adopted on June 15, 2016, by increasing the grant funding from $2,703,000.00 to $5,663,005.13 ($4,656,011.57 for construction and $1,006,993.56 for construction inspection and management services).
This Resolution will also authorize the Mayor of the City of Newark and/or his designee, the Acting Director of the Department of Engineering, to enter into and execute Federal Aid Cost Reimbursement Agreement #2023-DT-BLA-206 with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Division of Local Aid and Economic Development.

WHEREAS, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and the State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation (NJDOT) provides funds for Local Safety Programs; and
