The Governing body recommended the following:

1.                     Maintain a list of all local contractors

2.                     Create a partnership with NHA, Rutgers, NJIT and Hospitals

3.                     Create an alternate parking rule for snow accumulation over seven inches

4.                     Identify several additional parking lot locations for residents to park during snow removal in their wards

5.                     Identify two to three lots to dump/dispose of snow

6.                     Upon five inches of snow, contractors should use plows

7.                     Hire unemployed workers to clear city buildings and facilities, particularly near senior citizen residences and facilities

8.                     Eliminate all trucks reporting to Frelinghuysen Avenue and salt being at only one location

9.                     Identify salt banks in each ward
