WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Survivor's Brunch at the Waterfront Recreation Center, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Waterfront Recreation Center, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Waterfront Recreation Center, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Waterfront Recreation Center, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for a Survivor's Brunch, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.
2. The Acting City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Waterfront Recreation Center, 2 Grafton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for their records.
