WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Central Ward Community Meeting, at Quitman Street School, 21 Quitman Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103 (Cafeteria or Auditorium and Restrooms), on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this Community Meeting by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Quitman Street School, 21 Quitman Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103 (Cafeteria or Auditorium and Restrooms), on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 0...
