Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Anibal Ramos Jr.’s, 7th Annual Halloween Party at Branch Brook Park (Visitor’s Center) on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, between 3:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Branch Brook Park (Visitor’s Center) on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, between 3:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for their recor...
