WHEREAS, the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R8-c(S) on December 21, 2021, authorizing a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the Annual Newark Three Kings Children's Celebration at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, 104 Lock Street, Newark, New Jersey 07103, on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 3:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 8:00 A.M. and Clean-up/Breakdown ending at 9:00 P.M); but due to the closure of Newark Public Schools, amid a spike in new COVID-19 cases and the emergence of the Omicron variant there is a need to reschedule the event; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council desires to support the Annual Newark Three Kings Children's Celebration at Barringer High School (Outside and around premises), 90 Parker Street, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Saturday, January 15, 2022, from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its' support for this wholesome event that will benefit Newark residents, by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Stree...
