WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and Music Festival to be held on Verona Avenue between Mt. Prospect Avenue and McCarter Highway starting on Sunday, September 18, 2016, between 3:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the Annual Puerto Rican Parade and Music Festival to be held on Verona Avenue between Mt. Prospect Avenue and McCarter Highway on Sunday, September 18, 2016, between 3:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.
