WHEREAS, the City of Newark entered a Final Judgment in an in Rem Tax Foreclosure matter entered in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Essex County Docket No: F-13788-03 on October 1, 2003; and

WHEREAS, said Final Judgment was recorded in the Essex County Registrar's Office on December 10, 2003 in Book 6025, Page 570; and

WHEREAS, the property owner, Roe Almar indicated on the annexed list (Exhibit A) is the owner of record on the last tax duplicate when the City of Newark entered foreclosure judgment on the subject property; and

WHEREAS, the previous owner of record, Roe Almar, listed in Exhibit A has made application for a consent to vacate the foreclosure judgment entered on subject property; and

WHEREAS, the property on the attached list was foreclosed In Rem, in an action in the Superior Court of New Jersey, as described in exhibits attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, the Tax Collector of the City of Newark has recommended approval of said Consent Order the previous owner of record" indicated on the annexed list for the indicated amount.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:

1. The Corporation Counsel and the Tax Collector of the City of Newark be and are hereby authorized to enter into (partial) "Consent Order to Vacate" the aforementioned foreclosure judgme...
