WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Residents’ Cook Out, sponsored by Council Member Anibal Ramos, Jr. at Stephen Crane Village, One Stephen Crane Plaza, Newark, New Jersey 07107 on Thursday, August 16, 2012, between 12:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the Newark Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Housing Authority for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Stephen Crane Village, One Stephen Crane Plaza, Newark, New Jersey 07107 on Thursday, August 16, 2012, between 12:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M for a Residents’ Cook Out.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
