WHEREAS, on January 16, 2013 the Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R3-B to accept Workforce Learning Link Program funds from the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development in the grant amount of $133,000.00; and
WHEREAS, on November 19, 2012, the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development authorized, without application by the City of Newark, a Notice of Obligation for the State’s Workforce Learning Link Program to provide the City’s Newark One Stop Career Center/NewarkWORKS with additional funding in the amount of $75,000.00 for State Fiscal Year 2013 (July 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013), ...
