WHEREAS, on January 22, 2020, the City of Newark (the "City") through its Purchasing Agent, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractors to provide 2020 or Newer Harley-Davidson FLHP Road King Solo Law Enforcement Motorcycles for the Department of Public Works, Division of Motors, (on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, Division of Police) as described in the attached bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also distributed bid proposal packages to six (6) prospective bidders following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also published the bid on the City website for access and downloading by vendors; and
WHEREAS, on February 20, 2020, the Division of Central Purchasing received one (1) bid in response to this advertisement; and
