WHEREAS, Resolution 7R12-A - October 18, 2017, authorized the Director of Water and Sewer Utilities to execute an agreement with the State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation, for the verification, design, protection and/or relocation of certain public water facilities of the City's water system to accommodate the design and construction of UECA-08-Intersection Improvement Program, Contract 2017-1-173010, located in City of Elizabeth and Linden City - Union County and Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills - Morris County; and
WHEREAS, on March 2, 2018 the City of Newark received two (2) contract agreement amendments with exhibits for UECA-08-Intersection Improvement Program, Contract 2017-1-173010; and
WHEREAS, the Contract Agreement Amendments are needed to cover the understandings between the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation and the City of Newark (Department of Water and Sewer Utilities) for the required Federal Regulations pursuant to 2 C.F.R. 200 and 2 C.F.R. 200 Appendix II and implementing regulations of the Feder...
