WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Wellness Event at Branch Brook Park (Prudential Grove), Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Saturday, August 15, 2026 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM (includes set up time 7:00 AM and breakdown 9:00 PM) event time is 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Branch Brook Park (Prudential Grove), Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 7:00 AM until 9:00 PM (includes set up time 7:00 AM and breakdown 9:00 PM) event time is 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM, f...
