WHEREAS, the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has made grant funds available to end the HIV epidemic; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Health and Community Wellness/Mary Eliza Mahoney Health Center, as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is the direct recipient of these Ending the HIV Epidemic/Primary Care HIV Prevention funds; and
WHEREAS, on or about April 4, 2023, on behalf of the City of Newark (the "City"), the Director of the Department of Health and Community Wellness electronically filed an application to HRSA requesting grant funding in the amount of Fifty-Seven Thousand One Hundred Fourteen Dollars and Zero Cents ($57,114.00), to Ending HIV Epidemic/Primary Care HIV Prevention (a copy of the application is attached hereto and made a part hereof); and
