NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
For Calendar Year 2024 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 1 New Year’s Day (Observed)
January 15 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday (Observed)
February 12 Lincoln’s Birthday (Observed)
February 19 Washington’s Birthday (Observed)
March 29 Good Friday
May 27 Memorial Day
June 19 Juneteenth
July 4 Independence Day
September 2 Labor Day
