WHEREAS, the City of Newark, Department of Water and Sewer Utilities, is in need of standby Professional Environmental Services on an As-Needed Basis; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the public bidding process of the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq., the City of Newark's Department of Water and Sewer Utilities advertised a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) on September 28, 2020; and
WHEREAS, seventeen (17) prospective Respondents obtained Request For Qualifications (RFQ) Packages from the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities; and
WHEREAS, on October 20, 2020, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities received sealed Statement of Qualifications from six (6) firms in response to the RFQ for Professional Environmental Services on an As-Needed Basis; and
WHEREAS, a Qualification Statement received from Boswell Engineering, Inc., 330 Phillips Avenue, South Hackensack, New Jersey 07606, for environmental services on an As-Needed Basis, was found to be in the best interest of the City of Newark to accept; and
