WHEREAS, on April 13, 2026, the City of Newark, Department of Engineering (the "City"), pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq., publicly advertised to solicit bids for the Broadway Park Improvement, Contract #2026-03; and
WHEREAS, the City distributed seven (7) bid proposal packages to prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on May 7, 2026, in accordance with the public advertisement, two (2) bids were received, publicly opened, and read aloud for Contract #2026-03 for the improvement of Broadway Park, located at 683 Broadway, Newark, New Jersey ("Project"); and
