WHEREAS, on July 17, 2024 the City of Newark, through its Interim Purchasing Agent, advertised to solicit bids for Horse Feed and Supplies for the Department of Public Safety, Division of Police, as described in the attached bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing published the bid package on the City of Newark's Procurement Portal website to provide broader access and download capability to potential bidders; and
WHEREAS, on August 1, 2024, the Division of Central Purchasing received One (1) bid in response to the advertisement from Mikes Feed Farm; 90 Hamburg Turnpike, Suite 1, Riverdale, New Jersey 07457, which submitted bids for line items # 3 and 4; and
