WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Jazzing with the Seniors Event at Wynona Lipman Gardens (Community Room), 200 Cathedral Court, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Wynona Lipman Gardens (Community Room), 200 Cathedral Court, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, between 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
