WHEREAS, on June 26, 2012, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Director advertised to solicit bids for Maintenance & Repair: Collision Body Work for Light Duty Vehicles and Trucks Up To One (1) Ton, which the contractor will provide to the City of and Newark, for the Department of Engineering, Division of Motors and Department of Water Sewer Utilities, Division of Sewer and Water Supply, usage as described in the attached bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing solicited twelve (12) prospective vendor (s) from its established bid list following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on July 19, 2012, five (5) bids were received in response to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering, Division of Motors, reviewed the bids received and recommended that an award be made to Pulaski Auto Body & Sales Inc.; and
