WHEREAS, on October 4, 2011, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Director advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide, First Aid Kits and Refills, to the Offices of the Mayor and City Clerk, Departments of Administration, Child and Family Well-Being, Economic & Housing Development, Engineering, Fire, Finance, Neighborhood and Recreational Services, Police and Water & Sewer Utilities, as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing distributed nine (9) bid proposal packages to the prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on October, 20, 2011, no bid was received in response to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on November 8, 2011, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Director, re-advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide, First Aid Kits and Refills; and
