WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Ras J. Baraka for a Film Night for Black History Month at Central High School, 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07103, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of this program, which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Central High School, 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, 07103, on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council shall, forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Public Schools for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
