WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Ronald C. Rice for the State of the West Ward Address to be held at Speedway Elementary School, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, on Saturday, March 17, 2012, between 10:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome activity which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY; THAT
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Speedway Elementary School, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, on Saturday, March 17, 2012, between 10:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council shall, forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Public Schools for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
