WHEREAS, the City of Newark wishes to enter into Cost Reimbursement Agreement No. 2012-DT-BLA-201, termed Federal Aid Agreement, with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Division of Local Aid and Economic Development for the McClellan Street Underpass (Final Design); and
WHEREAS, the Cost Reimbursement Agreement No. 2012-DT-BLA-201, for the McClellan Street Underpass (Final Design), City of Newark, Essex County, STP-7608(104)PE, provides that all allowable costs incurred for the performance of work in the Scope of Work attached to the Cost Reimbursement Agreement, shall be eligible for reimbursement from the effective date of September 19, 2011. All such work shall be completed by September 19, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $1,099,003.00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark appoints the Mayor and/or his designee, the Director of the Department of Engineering, to act as the authorized person to execute the Cost Reimbursement Agreement No. 2012-DT-BLA-201.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
