Whereas, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-120 et seq., the City of Newark is authorized to appoint up to 50 Constables; and
 
Whereas, the Municipal Council appointed Harrison Hogue as a Constable by Resolution 7R9-A 011912; and
 
Whereas, the Municipal Council wishes to amend the appointment term from November 22, 2011 and ending November 21, 2012 to January 19, 2012 and ending January 18, 2013.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
 
Harrison Hogue, 34 Dassing Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, be and he is hereby appointed Constable for a one year term commencing on January 19, 2012 and ending on January 18, 2013, in accordance with his application to serve official documents, warrants of removals and repossessions of property.
 
Prior to entering upon the execution of his office and no later than thirty (30) days after the effective date of the appointment, the aforesaid appointee shall submit a Constable Bond, which shall be approved as to form, amount and sufficiency of Surety by Resolution of the Municipal Council.
