Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Darrin S. Sharif for the use of the swimming pool for the Swimming Classes to be held at Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey, on consecutive Saturdays, beginning Saturday, April 7, 2012 and ending Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support of the Swimming Classes which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of the swimming pool at Science Park High School, 260 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, April 7, 2012; Saturday, April 14, 2012; Saturday, April 21, 2012; Saturday, April 28, 2102; Saturday, May 5, 2012; Saturday, May 12, 2012; Saturday, May 19, 2012; Saturday May 26, 2012; Saturday, June 2, 2012; Saturday, June 9, 2012; Saturday, June 16, 2012 and Saturday, June 23, 2012, from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
