WHEREAS, on October 5, 2010, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Director advertised to solicit bids for Maintenance & Repair: Automobile Hydraulic System Components, which the contractor will provide to the City of Newark, for the Department of Engineering, Division of Motors, and the Department of Water & Sewer Utilities, Division of Sewer & Water Supply, usage as described in the attached bid proposal; and

WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing solicited twelve (12) prospective vendor(s) from its established bid list; and

WHEREAS, on October 28, 2010, one (1) bid was received in response to this advertisement; and

WHEREAS, the bid received was rejected due to non-compliance to terms; and
