Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Anibal Ramos, Jr. for a North Ward Immigration Seminar at Park Elementary School, 120 Manchester Place, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification with the Newark Public Schools.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY; THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Park Elementary School, 120 Manchester Place, Newark, New Jersey 07104 for Council Member Anibal Ramos, Jr’s. North Ward Immigration Seminar, to be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council shall, forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
