WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R3-a, adopted March 2, 2011, the City accepted grant funds and entered into a grant agreement with the United States Department of Justice (“USDOJ”), for the grant award 2010-CZ-BX-0060, in the amount of $750,000.00, for the Second Chance Reentry Project with $24,647.00 of in-kind matching City funds and $725,353.00 of matching philanthropic funds required, for the period commencing on October 1, 2010 and terminating on September 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the Business Administrator requested an extension of the expiration date for the grant agreement from September 30, 2011 to September 30, 2012 through the submission of a Grant Adjustment Notice to USDOJ, which was approved by USDOJ on June 30, 2011; and
