WHEREAS, Kevin Aulton Peebles, has been appointed as a Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-i, adopted by the Municipal Council on May 2, 2012; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Kevin Aulton Peebles, must post a bond in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Constable Bond in the amount of $1000.00 issued to Kevin Aulton Peebles, 68 Van Ness Place, Newark, NJ, for a term commencing on April 19, 2012 and ending April 18, 2013, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
2. The Municipal Council ratifies the acceptance of the bond to April 18, 2012.

This resolution authorizes Kevin Aulton Peebles to a one-year term as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey.
