WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a South Ward Kids Rock at George Washington Carver Elementary School Playground, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, July 14, 2012, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this hold harmless and indemnification with the Newark Public Schools.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of George Washington Carver Elementary School Playground, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, July 14, 2012, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
