WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a South Ward Summer Camp at University High School, 55 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07108 (Ten (10) Classrooms, Library, Mock Courtroom and Gymnasium) from Friday, July 6, 2012 through Friday, August 17, 2012 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with Newark Public Schools.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of University High School, 55 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07108 (Ten (10) Classrooms, Library, Mock Courtroom and Gymnasium), from Friday, July 6, 2012 through Friday, August 17, 2012 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
