Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Senior Cook Out at Seth Boyden Elderly, 46 Evergreen Avenue/839 Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark, NJ 07114, on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, between 11:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event, by approving this hold harmless and indemnification agreement with the Newark Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to Hold Harmless and Indemnify the Newark Housing Authority for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Seth Boyden Elderly, 46 Evergreen Avenue/839 Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark, NJ 07114, on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, between 11:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless Agreement to the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
