WHEREAS, Resolution 7R12-c 052108 authorized the award of Contract 07-WS2006 Downstream Infrastructure Improvements to Adams Street and Avenue “A” Drainage System to National Water Main Cleaning Company, 875 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, in the amount of $1,577,962.00, in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq; and
WHEREAS, Contract 07-WS2006 was completed with a total of $142,715.46 to be reduced for unused amounts provided for in the contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water & Sewer Utilities wishes to execute a final quantities Change Order No.1 to Contract 07-WS2006 Downstream Infrastructure Improvements to Adams Street and Avenue “A” Drainage System to National Water Main Cleaning Company, 875 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, reducing the contract by $142,715.46, bringing the final contract amount to $1,435,246.54.
