ORDINANCE REPEALING IN IT'S ENTIRETY AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XXXIV, TRANSPORTATON, CHAPTER 2, AUTOCABS, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY (2000) AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, BY ADDING THERETO A NEW PARAGRPH WHICH LIMITS THE NUMBER OF AUTOCAB LICENSES ISSUED IN THE CITY OF NEWARK AT ONE TIME TO SIX HUNDRED (600).

WHEREAS, Ordinance 6SFB was adopted on September 19, 2012; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable by the Municipal Council to repeal the ordinance in its entirety and remove it from codification.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, COUNTY OF ESSEX, AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY:

Section 1. Ordinance 6SFB 091912 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
Section 2. Any prior ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. If any part of this ordinance is declared unconstitutional or illegal, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Section 4. The repeal of this ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.

The purpose of this Ordinance is to repeal in its Ordinance 6SFB 091912.
